OMG I'm ACTUALLY updating my journal. IT'S A MIRACLE.

So, in case you have absolutely no idea, IT'S CHRISTMAS! Yay! It's time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by singing carols, exchanging salutations, smiles, and gifts, and engaging in the overall charming Christmas spirit. And that's what I'm doing.

This morning was a great present-opening jamboree with my mom, dad, brother, and dear hyper puppy (only 10 and still going strong!). My stocking was filled with chocolate, chocolate, juicy fruit gum, and MORE CHOCOLATE. Yummm...

After that we hate a freshly baked coffee cake (and I had some eggnog, the holiest drink on the planet!) and proceeded to open presents under the tree. What fun! Santa (*wink* *wink*) brough the entire family a board game called BATTLE OF THE SEXES. It's going to be so fun anialating the male species and proving above all that girls rule. got a giant sword for Christmas, which he is geeking out over, and I sent him on a scavenger hunt for his other present from me (please check it out in my gallery and comment!) He got more of course, but I don't remember all of the details.

I got an absolutly BEAUTIFUL jewelry box from my grandparents, as well as matching necklace, earrings, and bracelet made from real freshwater pearls that my grandmother got for her 47th birthday. She says it was either her first or one of her first sets of jewelry. The fact that it came from her and wasn't bought makes it that much more heart-felt and special to me. Along with that I got a big, fuzzy white jacket from Santa that I tried on while visiting my grandmother in Seattle. I don't know how much I'll get to wear it where I live (sunny, not a cloud in the sky, and about 70 degress right now), but it's still awesome. And so... SOFT!!! From my bff I got a pink flower necklace that's really pretty and from my other bff I got a multi-colored pen and some super sweet-smelling berry shower shampoo/soap/bubble bath. Got a card and a check from my other set of grandparents. Oh and I got two books (one on magic/meditiation and another on Jesus) from my dear brother .

I'm helping my mother bake Christmas dinner right now. Turkey's in the oven, potatoes are boiling (later to be mashed), and dough is being kneaded to make rolls later. Yummy!
